Self Care Club

 

The times when we think we are too busy for self care are the exact times when we need it the most. It is difficult to overestimate the importance of self care. It is much easier to see what everyone else needs, and to put their needs first. This leads to feeling stressed, overworked and underappreciated. Yet, how can other's appreciate you when you don't take time to appreciate yourself? To give and care for other's from a balanced and healthy place you must be willing to care for yourself.

 

It's just like they say on the plane safety pamphlet: put the oxygen mask on yourself first, then begin to help other's with theirs. Focusing on other's needs and ignoring your own leads to panic and distress. If you are calm and can breathe easily then you set a shining example for those around you.

 

The Self Care club helps you to prioritize time for yourself in your schedule and in your life. The more love that you have for yourself, the more love you have to give. The more you practice being able to feel appreciated, the more open you are to receiving appreciation from others. Because of this Self Care club are the very first emails that are sent out for all of the Idea clubs. Members receive their emails on the 18th day of each month.
